we started as a dream or a "what if", now this dream is our reality! nicolinas bakery is in honour of nicole's zia lina, better known as, nicolina lacaprara. lina passed away in 2009 so to keep her presence alive, nicolinas was born! we adapted our recipes from nonna vittoria who would spend all of her time baking and cooking for her whole family. she sadly passed away in 2022 however, her love and passion is carried throughout all of our products. we strive to make true authentic Italian baked goods like nonna would as sticking to tradition is best. we can confidently say that all of our products at nicolinas get a nonna's seal of approval.

ABOUT NICOLE
nicole ragona
nicole is ambitious and filled with passion to keep her nonna's legacy alive. as a child, she would be fascinated watching her mom and nonna in the kitchen baking all sorts of sweets. she enjoyed the idea of creating things for others as well as experimenting with new recipes and ingredients. nicole studied at george brown college for baking and pastry arts to further her knowledge in the baking world. she is now actively trying to keep authentic and traditional italian desserts alive.
